Hello, my name is Monte Hausmann. I specialize in only Medicare Supplements and Prescription drug plans. Monte is a born and raised Minnesotan through and through. Half German and half Norwegian he has been known to have both sauerkraut and lefse on the same plate. He can tell you where Schell’s beer is brewed and knows what a Krumkaka iron is. He prefers cold weather over hot, and hot dish over casserole.

Born in Minneapolis in 1969, Monte spent his childhood living and attending school in Minneapolis, while spending his summers at his grandparents in International Falls. During those summer vacations, he spent much time fishing on Rainy Lake with his Father and Uncles. And still fishes on Rainy Lake as often as he can. Monte lived in a double bungalow while in Minneapolis, with he and his parents on one side and his Norwegian Grandmother on the other. Living so close too, and getting to see his grandma as often as he did shaped and molded him into who he is today. “My grandmother (Olga Olson) was the sweetest, most caring, and most stereotypical grandmother a boy could had ever hoped for. Her influence in my upbringing taught me many things, including honesty, listening, and respect for my elders”.

Six months after graduating High School Monte became a licensed insurance agent in the state of Minnesota. The gentleman who hired, trained, and mentored him was Nyles R. Gentz. Nyles Gentz is the founder of Gentz Financial. A very well respected financial planner here in MN. Nyles’s radio show can be heard weekly throughout central Minnesota on KNSI 1450am. Over the past 33 years Monte has worked for numerous insurance companies. He has had offices in Minnetonka, Wayzata, and more recently Saint Cloud. He has clients in every corner of Minnesota and everywhere else in between. He has traveled the state extensively and has sat at well over 1,000 kitchen tables. Quadruple that amount of phone conversations.

“I’m not going anywhere” Monte has only lived in three places his entire life. Minneapolis, Apple Valley, and Saint Cloud. At 54, he loves what he does and plans on being around for many more years to come.

17 years ago Monte moved to Saint Cloud. “Saint Cloud is the perfectly located Minnesota city. Smack dab in the middle of our state, from here I can reach out to anyone who needs our services”.

Monte is 19 years married to his beautiful wife Cheryl and has two boys, Tyler (18) and Blake (19). Snickers the dog rounds out the family. In his free time, Monte likes family vacations in his RV, watching Hockey games, grilling, and working on his old muscle car. He is an avid collector of baseball cards and pre 1960 comic books.

Jeff Hausmann

Jeff began his career in the insurance industry and became a licensed Minnesota agent when he was just 17! A few years later he joined the family business when he purchased his first rental properties in Northern Minnesota, most of which he still owns and manages today. He grew his passion for real estate into a successful and nationally recognized construction company, where he achieved Inc 5000 status and was named Qualified Remodeler’s Top Roofing Contractor in the Nation in 2007 and 2009.

Due to the overwhelming opportunity at Medicare Supplements Minnesota In 2016 he joined forces with Monte Hausmann a longtime friend and relative to meet the demand that was growing as the baby boomers hit the age of 65.

Jeff, his wife, three children and their 90 pound golden doodle live on Island Lake just north of Duluth, Minnesota. They are actively involved in their school, church and community. Jeff and his wife provide financial support to the Vineyard Church, Union Gospel Mission, the Duluth Library Foundation, and various other charities in their community. In his spare time, Jeff indulges in attending his children’s sporting events, including gymnastics, hockey, soccer and La Crosse. His personal hobbies include reading, snowmobiling, the great outdoors, restoring classic cars, riding his Harley and travel. Jeff has visited 39 states, 22 countries and 4 Canadian providences in his pursuit of knowledge and experiences.

Jeff’s family and friends say that he is “eternally optimistic” and approaches his personal life as well as his business with a positive attitude.
